About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Strategic Senior Sales & Marketing Manager with strong FMCG/manufacturing experience to lead sales growth, strengthen market positioning, develop strategic accounts, and drive revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and profitability.
- Develop and manage key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop effective go-to-market strategies.
- Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Develop pricing, promotional, distribution, and market penetration strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
- At least 3–5 years in a senior sales/marketing management role.
- Strong understanding of FMCG sales channels, distribution networks, retail, wholesale, and modern trade.
- Proven track record of achieving significant revenue and market growth.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing sales teams and key accounts.
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and route-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian FMCG/manufacturing market.
- Candidates with strong knowledge of the Enugu market are highly encouraged to apply.
