Job Description: FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budget preparation, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting, working closely with cross-functional teams to support sound financial decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate annual and departmental budgets.
• Monitor budget utilization and control expenditure.
• Perform budget-versus-actual variance analysis and provide clear explanations.
• Develop financial forecasts, models, and scenario analyses.
• Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
• Support project budgeting, business cases, and financial evaluations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide financial recommendations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Project, and Control teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Strong practical experience in preparing, monitoring, and managing budgets is essential.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• ACCA/CFA qualification, or progress toward certification, is an added advantage.
