JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly disciplined, quality-driven, and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure excellence in the delivery of MEP projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Conduct inspections of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and ELV installations.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Raise, monitor, and close out NCRs, Site Observation Reports (SORs), and CAPAs.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, material approvals, and handover documentation.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Monitor quality performance and prepare periodic QA/QC reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize rework and improve project quality.
• Monitor project quality performance and submit evaluation reports.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of QA/QC experience within the MEP or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation standards, inspection procedures, testing, commissioning, and quality management systems.
• Sound understanding of ISO 9001, IEC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, British Standards, and relevant local regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and quality documentation systems.
• Experience with BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
• COREN/NSE certification or membership will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.
