Job Summary

The Cook will be responsible for preparing hygienic, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for staff at the mining site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals according to agreed menus.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Manage food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor food stock and report shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Minimise food wastage.
• Prepare meals according to staff requirements.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in a camp, hotel, restaurant, construction, or industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian dishes.
• Ability to prepare meals for multiple staff members.
• Good hygiene and kitchen-management practices.
• Reliable, organised, and hardworking.
• Willingness to work/stay on-site where required.
